HOPKINS COUNTY MASTER GARDENERS

MEETING – THURSDAY,SEPTEMBER 28, 10:00 A.M.

TEXAS AGRILIFE EXTENSION OFFICE

Fall is beginning and we have lots going on this time of year.  Our meeting is

Thursday, September 28, 10:00 a.m. at the Texas AgriLife Extension

Office.  In addition to our regular business meeting we will be

looking ahead to the Fall Festival, Ag-in Classroom, starting gardening

columns for News Telegram in 2018, and 2018 Officer election.

There will be signup sheets for the Fall Festival setup and tear

down of tables, Ag-in-Classroom, and 2018 monthly gardening

columns.  As you can see there is plenty of opportunities to

get your volunteer hours.  Attached is a draft of the August

meeting minutes for your review and need for any additions

or corrections.  See you Thursday!

The glory of gardening: hands in the dirt, head in the sun,

heart with nature.  To nurture a garden is to

feed not just the body, but the soul.”

The Hopkins County Master Gardeners meet from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on the
4th Thursday of each month (unless it's a holiday) at the Hopkins County AgriLife building located across from the Dairy Museum. We'd love to have you join us!

You may come as a guest, become a member of our auxiliary or become a Texas Certified Master Gardener. We get involved in many community projects, so if you'd like to hang out with some nice people, some of whom are really Master Gardeners, please come and meet with us.
